Working committees
There are many urgent issues and inequalities worth exploring as well as extensive knowledge to be exchanged worldwide. The aim is to enable relevant discussions that address for example the challenges concerning the environment, the technical specification of the equipment and the service to the bereaved.
The following three sub-committees are currently being composed (with some examples of possible issues to raise):
Ethical committee
- general acceptance of cremation
- how crematoria (should) handle the metals that remain from ashes with focus on cultural differences and local customs
Technical committee
- research on environmental circumstances and developments worldwide
- new technologies
Legal committee
- to chart laws and regulations
